“Dobbs Consulting is a specialty niche Clinical Research Organization (CRO), consisting entirely of a network of clinical research consultants with a focus in Phase I and Phase II Oncology research. Dobbs Consulting began as a one-woman operation in 1993 and continued as such until 2005. As more and more biotechnology companies were embracing the use of regionally based consultant CRAs over larger CROs for monitoring and managing their oncology trials, the need grew to expand the company; Dobbs Consulting evolved into a network of seasoned clinical research professionals individually selected based on experience and internal referrals. Since 2005, Dobbs Consulting has grown from a single person organization to a network of over 125 consultants (including project managers, regulatory coordinators, medical monitors, CRAs, etc.) and have been involved in over 40 clinical trials (as of January 2011).
